Probably my favorite restaurant in Richmond! The staff are warm and welcoming, the ambiance is really nice with cool decorations and nice booths. I usually get takeout and there portions are very generous which I greatly appreciate. I strongly recommend the steak hibachi with friend rice! It is so good! The fried rice is light and not too greasy, the vegetables aren't too greasy either, and the steak is really nice! I feel good after either their food. Enough for two or more meals

The ginger dressing (which I don't generally like) was delicious. I also found the yum yum sauce to be superb. I had the hibachi steak, it was cooked perfectly per my request, tender and flavorful. My husband enjoyed the hibachi chicken, it had ample sauce and flavor. He enjoyed the ginger dressing as well. We had a lovely server to round out a wonderful experience.

If your a Richmond native, then you'll know this place is located in the old 3rd Street Diner spot. Sad that 3rd street is gone, but this is a great new addition to this location. We very much enjoyed the layout of the place. Lots of anime pictures and most Japanese versions. They had a number of TV's playing anime shows and 1 was playing a miniature food cooking show. Staff was very friendly. Got to pick our own seat. Our waitress seemed a little forgetful, would ask us a question and then forget to get what she asked about, but she was super peppy and nice. We got a few specially rolls. Spider, Tokyo and Dragon. My nephew liked the Spider the beat, but all were good. It was her birthday, so they gave her a nice sized fried ice cream, on the house. Thanks! They have a decent sized bar area. We enjoyed it very much and would go again. Don't know if it's normal, but got a bunch of stickers with the bill, which was cool.

Glad I gave Nami a second chance! On my recent visit, I ordered a rainbow roll for takeout. They kindly packaged all that I needed to picnic with this. They packed both soy sauce and chopsticks. I enjoyed my roll and feel like the quality of their fish improved from my first visit. I love the amount of ginger and wasabi they put too. This spot is a 3.5 for me. The first time I came, which was back in summer of 2022, I ordered a sushi lunch special that I wasn't a fan of. I will say the service at the time was great though and the ambience is very cute. I like their decor a lot. I'm happy the quality of their sushi is better because this spot is the easiest sushi place to walk to for me.

Came here on a Wednesday night, the restaurant was pretty quiet when we first got there, but people started to roll in closer to 7 pm. The servers were all friendly and quick to provide to any requests. The food was super yummy, loved the house ginger salad, and the rainbow roll and salmon roll did not disappoint. Pricing was normal for the other sushi spots in Richmond. Hope to be back soon!

Highly rated sushi spot right in downtown Richmond. I accidently arrived just 45min before closing, but the staff was still friendly and got my food out quickly. The chicken wings were perfect! They were fall-of-the-bone and the sweet chili sauce had the perfect amound of spice. The sushi was also delicious, it really tasted fresh and I watched the chef prepare it in front of me. I would have stayed longer to enjoy more if it wern't for me showimg up before they closed.
